Enhance appears on the Done screen after you recover. Most of what it does runs on your computer and is free: Sharpen and upscale, Fix colour and brightness, and Crop away damaged parts. Restore with AI is different. It sends each photo to an AI model that repairs fading, scratches and grain, and can fill in the missing part of a partly damaged photo. That step uses credits.
How credits work
- One credit restores one photo, whatever its size.
- Credits never expire.
- If a restore fails, or you stop it before a photo is finished, that photo's credit goes back on your balance automatically.
- Every paid recovery comes with 5 free credits, so you can try it on your own photos.
- Credits belong to the copy of the app you bought them in. Sign in from the app and they move to your account, so you can use them on another computer.
Buying credits
- Open EnhanceOn the Done screen, click Enhance Photos and tick Restore with AI. The tag next to it shows how many credits you have.
- Choose a packClick Get credits, or Get More Credits if you don't have enough for the photos you chose. Pick a pack and click Continue to Secure Checkout.
- Pay in your browserPaddle's checkout opens in your browser. When you have paid, go back to the app. It checks every few seconds and shows the new credits as soon as they arrive.
Credits can't be bought on the website, because they are added to the copy of the app that opened the checkout. The packs are listed on the Restore with AI page.
What a restored photo is
Each result is saved as a new file, such as “photo (restored).jpg”, and marked AI-redrawn. The model redraws the photo, so faces, writing and fine detail can differ from the original, and anything it fills in is a guess rather than recovered data. Your recovered photo isn't changed.
