Acceptable use
Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
In short: only recover drives you own or have permission to recover. Treat our support and chat fairly. Do not use our services for anything illegal.
1. Only drives you are entitled to recover
- Use Data Recovery Pro only on drives you own, or that the owner, or someone with authority over the drive, has allowed you to recover.
- A second-hand, found or borrowed card may hold another person's photos and personal data. Recovering it without permission may break data protection, computer misuse or privacy laws. If you find someone else's data, do not keep, share or use it.
- Do not use the app to get at data you have no right to, such as a device taken from someone else or evidence you have been told to preserve.
2. Support, tickets and chat
- Be courteous. We will not tolerate abuse, threats or harassment of our staff.
- No spam, automated messages, or attempts to get around our rate limits.
- Do not send your files, passwords or payment card details. We never need them.
- Do not pretend to be someone else, or use another person's order ID or account.
3. No illegal or harmful content
Do not use our website, accounts, support or chat to send or store illegal content, malware, or material that infringes someone else's rights. Where the law requires it, we will report illegal content to the authorities.
4. No attacks or misuse
- Do not try to break into, overload or probe our website, servers or accounts.
- Do not forge, share, resell or tamper with receipts, or get around the payment checks.
- Do not scrape the website or our services in a way that harms them.
5. What we may do
If someone breaks this policy, we may refuse support, close tickets or chats, suspend or close an account, and, where the law requires or allows, tell the police or other authorities. We will act in proportion to what happened. This does not affect refunds or your statutory rights. To report misuse, contact [CONTACT EMAIL].
